This Licenses & Attributions notice (this "Notice") is issued by Healerverse Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Healerverse," "we," "us," or "our"), and is incorporated by reference into, and forms part of, the Terms of Use governing g1fti.com and its related applications and services (the "Platform"). This Notice discloses the free and open-source software license applicable to certain components of the Platform, sets forth attribution to the original authors of that software, and satisfies certain disclosure obligations imposed on Healerverse by operation of that license. Capitalized terms not otherwise defined in this Notice have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Use.

1. Definitions

  • "AGPL-3.0" means the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3, as published by the Free Software Foundation, the full text of which is available at gnu.org/licenses/agpl-3.0.html and is incorporated herein by reference.
  • "Corresponding Source" has the meaning given to that term in Section 1 of the AGPL-3.0, and, as used in this Notice, refers to the complete source code of the version of the Licensed Software currently deployed in connection with the Platform, inclusive of all Modifications.
  • "Licensed Software" means the software originally released as Goteo, an open-source civic crowdfunding platform, together with any modified, adapted, or derivative version thereof, including without limitation the software underlying the Platform.
  • "Modifications" means any alteration, addition, deletion, or other change made by or on behalf of Healerverse to the Licensed Software as originally released by its original authors.
  • "Originating Authors" means Platoniq and the Goteo Foundation (Fundación Goteo), collectively, as further described in Section 3 below.

2. Disclosure of Applicable License

The Licensed Software incorporates and is derived, in material part, from source code originally released as Goteo (goteo.org). The Licensed Software, including the version thereof operating the Platform, is licensed under and subject to the terms of the AGPL-3.0. Nothing in this Notice, the Terms of Use, or any other Platform policy shall be construed to modify, limit, or supersede the rights and obligations set forth in the AGPL-3.0 with respect to the Licensed Software; in the event of any conflict between such other materials and the AGPL-3.0 as applied to the Licensed Software, the AGPL-3.0 shall govern.

3. Attribution to Originating Authors

The Licensed Software was originally authored and developed by the Goteo project team under the auspices of Platoniq, a nonprofit organization engaged in civic participation and social innovation initiatives, which founded the Goteo platform in 2011 and released its source code under a free and open-source license in the following year. Stewardship, maintenance, and further development of the Licensed Software were subsequently assumed by the Goteo Foundation (Fundación Goteo), a nonprofit organization based in Barcelona, Spain.

Healerverse hereby acknowledges and credits the Originating Authors for their contribution to open, civic crowdfunding infrastructure, without which the Licensed Software would not exist. The repositories maintained by the Originating Authors, from which the Licensed Software was originally derived, are located at the following addresses:

For the avoidance of doubt, the Platform is owned and operated exclusively by Healerverse. No affiliation, sponsorship, partnership, or endorsement between Healerverse and either Originating Author is expressed or implied by this Notice, and none should be inferred.

4. Availability of Corresponding Source (AGPL-3.0 §13)

Section 13 of the AGPL-3.0 imposes an obligation, distinct from that imposed by most other free and open-source software licenses, applicable to software that is modified and thereafter made available for interaction by users over a computer network. Specifically, where a licensee modifies software licensed under the AGPL-3.0 and operates such modified software as a network-accessible service, the licensee must afford users interacting with that service the opportunity to obtain the Corresponding Source, at no charge, by means of a network server or other customary means of software distribution.

In satisfaction of this obligation, Healerverse makes the Corresponding Source available, free of charge, to any user of the Platform upon written request directed to notify@g1fti.com. Upon receipt of such a request, Healerverse shall furnish a network-accessible means of obtaining the Corresponding Source within a commercially reasonable period.

For the avoidance of doubt, the obligation described in this Section 4 is a narrow and specific one: it requires that the Corresponding Source be made available to users of the Platform upon request. It does not require, and should not be understood to suggest, that Healerverse operates the Platform as a public, contribution-based, or community-governed open-source project, that Healerverse's proprietary business operations, branding, or non-Licensed-Software assets are thereby subject to any open-source license, or that any right, license, or permission is granted with respect to any Healerverse trademark, service mark, or other intellectual property not comprising part of the Licensed Software.

5. Modifications to the Licensed Software

Consistent with the notice requirements set forth in Section 5 of the AGPL-3.0, Healerverse discloses that it has made substantial and material Modifications to the Licensed Software as originally released by the Originating Authors. Such Modifications include, without limitation: (a) a redesigned payment and payout architecture integrated with Stripe Connect; (b) a newly implemented identity-verification layer integrated with Didit, applicable to both individual and business Know-Your-Customer verification; (c) revised Campaign categorization, content-moderation workflows, and disbursement and fee logic reflecting the Platform's fee structure, as further described in the Terms of Use; (d) updated branding, user-interface design, and application architecture; and (e) such other structural, functional, and architectural changes as have been made since the Licensed Software was forked from the original Goteo project. Files modified in this manner are marked with prominent notices in the source code made available pursuant to Section 4 above, as required by AGPL-3.0 §5.

6. Third-Party Services Not Subject to This Disclosure

The Platform incorporates certain third-party services that are furnished under proprietary, commercially licensed terms, rather than under any free or open-source software license, and that accordingly do not fall within the scope of the disclosure set forth in Section 2 above. Such services are identified below solely for purposes of transparency:

  • Stripe Connect — providing payment processing, payout, and transaction-handling infrastructure as between Donors and Campaign Organizers, and governed by Stripe's own terms of service, available at stripe.com/legal.
  • Didit — providing identity-verification ("know your customer") services applicable to both individual and business Users, including document verification and beneficial-ownership verification, and governed by Didit's own terms of service, available at didit.me/legal (or such successor address as Didit may designate).

The use of the foregoing services in connection with the Platform is further described in the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use, each incorporated herein by reference.

7. Other Open-Source Components

Beyond the Licensed Software described in Section 2 above, the production build of the Platform does not, as of the date of this Notice, incorporate additional components licensed under the AGPL-3.0 or any other copyleft license that would impose a separate source-disclosure obligation. As is customary for contemporary web applications, the Platform may incorporate ancillary open-source libraries and frameworks made available under permissive licenses (including, without limitation, the MIT License, the Apache License 2.0, or the BSD License). Such permissive licenses do not, by their terms, impose an obligation of source-code disclosure or attribution, and accordingly such components are not separately enumerated in this Notice; each such component remains subject to, and is used strictly in accordance with, the terms of its own license.

8. Free JavaScript Notice (LibreJS Compatibility)

As a voluntary and good-faith extension of its commitment to software freedom — separate from, and in addition to, the obligations imposed by the AGPL-3.0 described above — Healerverse endeavors to release JavaScript served to a user's browser under free-software licenses and to annotate such JavaScript in accordance with the GNU LibreJS convention, such that a browser employing the LibreJS extension may verify and execute such scripts accordingly. Notwithstanding the foregoing, certain third-party scripts embedded within the Platform, including without limitation those furnished by Stripe Connect and Didit in connection with the services described in Section 6 above, may not conform to this standard, as such scripts are outside of Healerverse's control and are governed by the terms of the applicable third-party provider.

9. Relationship to Other Platform Policies; Severability

This Notice is supplemental to, and incorporated by reference into, the Terms of Use. In the event of any conflict between this Notice and the Terms of Use with respect to a matter addressed in this Notice, this Notice shall govern; provided, however, that nothing herein shall be construed to limit the general provisions of the Terms of Use, including without limitation those governing limitation of liability, governing law, and dispute resolution, which shall apply to this Notice with equal force as though set forth herein. If any provision of this Notice is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
